What Prolozone Therapy Is
Prolozone is an oxidative treatment for back and joint pain involving an injection of ozone gas and nutrients into and around the joint space. The body’s healing response is triggered when degenerative joints are injected with oxygen, vitamins, and minerals.
Prolozone Safety
Ozone-based therapies have been used for decades. It’s effects are proven in the medical literature and its side effects are minimal. Dr. Lipton has been using oxidative therapies for more than a decade and has trained directly with Dr. Frank Shallenberger, the physician who developed and pioneered Prolozone therapy.
Side effects. There are no side effects to this treatment. All of the components of Prolozone are natural; including oxygen, vitamins and minerals. The only medication used is Lidocaine, which causes numbness before the injection.

Prolozone is very effective in treating musculoskeletal and pain disorders, including:

How Long It Takes To Get Results
Most patients feel positive results immediately and continue to experience reduction in pain after each treatment.
Dr. Lipton suggests having multiple treatments. It is common for patients to experience significant pain reduction (or no pain at all) after 6 – 10 treatments. In theory, any healing to connective tissue you experience is permanent.
Since everyone’s body reacts differently to treatment, it might take a few sessions to achieve noticeable healing.
What the Procedure Is Like
The procedure is as simple and fast as getting a flu shot. Prolozone is an injection administered with a very tiny needle into the affected area or joint.
